Join the Bike Club!

The Carol Stream Parks Foundation bike club accommodates all skill groups. Each bike ride leaves from the Simkus Recreation Center the second Thursday of the month at 6pm and the fourth Saturday of the month at 9am. Bike Club rides twice a month, May through October. Bike rides are led by one of our guides. All proceeds go to the Carol Stream Parks Foundation.

Wacky Golf

Teenie Weenie Pumpkins & Munchkins

Night of 1,000 Jack-O'-Lanterns

More than 1,000 hand-carved pumpkins light up the night at the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe. Artists spend up to 15 hours sculpting a single pumpkin for this one of a kind event. Take a self-guided walking tour along a festive, paved pathway.

Trick-or-Treat Trail

Trick-or-Treat around Red Hawk Park with games, candy and activities. All participants must register for a designated time slot, and must check-in during their arrival window. All children must be registered and accompanied by an adult.

Pre-register by October 29. Walk-up registrations will be accepted as available.

Teenie Weenie Thanksgiving

New This Year!! Celebrate Thanksgiving Teenie Weenie Style with crafts, games, and a special Thanksgiving meal inspired by A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

All children must be registered and must be accompanied by an adult. Registration closes November 18.

Grinchmas

The Grinch has taken over Whoville and can't wait to see you! Take a walk around our own Whoville with your family, play games and collect treats from all the Whos, then put on your best grinchy face for a photo with Santa and the Grinch!

Trail and meet-and-greet is outside and takes approximately 20-25 minutes.
